Vintage Tone Professional MK11 - Classic MK11 Tonebender Build - with Optional LED and DC Socket

The Williams Vintage Tone MK11 Professional is a very faithful recreation of the legendary Tonebender MK11 Professional fuzz pedal. Originally built by Sola Sound in the 1960's, the MK11 Tonebender instantly became a mainstay for many legendary guitarists such as Jimmy Page and Jeff Beck. Probably the greatest Fuzz pedal ever.

Williams MK11 Professional OC81D Tonebender

At full Fuzz, the fuzz is big and dirty but still warm, organic and articulate. Notes sustain on and on, eventually ringing out into dying upper harmonics on certain frets. Bring back the volume on the guitar and the MK11 takes on a different feel, things start to clean-up, starting from a dynamic crunch superb for Jimmy Page style rhythms through to a shimmering, almost clean tone with a slight crunch.

Mullard OC81D Tonebender

The Williams Vintage Tone MK11 is one of the very best MK11 Tonebender's available today. Built using an original as a reference model, Genuine 1960's Mullard germanium transistors are painstakingly selected and matched for gain, and to ensure low leakage and low noise. These are then combined with the very best selection of capacitors and carbon comp resistors.

All the transistors are nos (new old stock) NOT modern copies or modern imitations!
